Year 2 have settled straight back into the new term and have shown excellent focus on their new topics. We have enjoyed searching the school for 3D shapes. We have celebrated Eco Week by learning about how to help our local wildlife and making bird feeders!

This afternoon Blossoms have enjoyed a lovely Autumnal walk around the school field. We went through the mud and grass then stopped to look at the scarecrows made by the school children.
Year 2 have had another amazing week, they enjoyed the Snow White pantomime and got involved with shouting out to the wicked step mother and singing along with lots of their favourite songs. They also had fun making playground toys in Science using different materials.
Year 1 went on a magical school trip to Audley end this week. This links wonderfully to our English book this half term 'The Polar Express'. The children had a great time and even got to meet someone very special !!!
This week in Snowdrop we had a fun-filled time exploring the song β5 Currant Buns.β After enjoying a range of creative and play-based activities throughout the week, we decided to finish with a very exciting experience, making real currant buns together!
Year 4 have absolutely loved using the VR headsets today!
They explored the Titanic in incredible detail ahead of our new English unit next week and they are well and truly hooked! π³οΈβ¨
It was wonderful to see their excitement and we canβt wait to dive deeper into the topic.
Year Three demonstrated great resilience this week in DT. They created pop up scenes to develop the skills they will needs to create their own pop up books at the end of this half term.
Year 2 have worked hard this week at creating some amazing persuasive poster's to entice you to come to our bake sale on Wednesday 26th November, this an opportunity for us to raise money for the guide dog association. We look forward to seeing you then!

Year 6 were so lucky that Henry's dad offered to come in and give a talk all about WW2. We were fascinated to find out how much happened on our doorstep.
What a busy week we have had in Year 5! A huge well done to the whole year group for all their efforts this week- particularly with all the tests they have completed. No homework this week aside from TTRS and daily reading. Happy weekend all!
