An unexpected clear night last night meant that we could take part in the @CPRE’s star count 2021. We saw 26 stars within the constellation of Orion just with our eyes! This long exposure photo shows there were plenty more!

We have lots of birds flying around us and these pictures show a peregrine Falcon, red kite and the heron (who visits us often). We have lots of wildlife visit us throughout the year - barn owls, deer, hares, rabbits!

A couple of years ago a family of mink lived in the stream & we were lucky enough to find this on our wildlife camera when one visited our lake - the ducks & moorhens were very lucky too! 🦆
