CFBISD hosted a PSA contest for Red Ribbon Week in October. Campuses were tasked with creating short videos of students advocating for a drug-free lifestyle. This yearβs theme, βBe Kind to Your Mind, Live Drug Free,β explains the harmful effects of drugs on the brainβs growth and development. Congratulations to Central Elementary School and Ted Polk Middle School for winning the contest. View their winning videos below!
We had the privilege of having recruiters from the Texas Army National Guard speak to AVID students about opportunities to have college tuition paid for after graduating high school. @NewmanSmithAVID#avid
