As Ensemble in Residence at Carlingford Heritage Centre, The Fews Ensemble presents Echoes and Inspirations — a four concert journey through music that draws on memory, faith, and imagination. Spanning the English pastoral tradition, the spiritual visions of Messiaen, the lush romanticism of Brahms and Schoenberg, and a new commission by Newry composer Amy Rooney, this series explores how composers transform experience and art into sound. Each concert offers a moment of reflection and wonder within the historic setting of Carlingford Heritage Centre.

Thursday 11th June at 7pm. Have you been thinking about dusting off your instrument or finding your voice again? NCM is delighted to invite adult instrumentalists and singers of any level to take part in our Adult Performance Platform at the NCM hub at @TheQuaysNewry.
Designed especially for adults who may not have played or sung in public since childhood, or for anyone who simply wants an opportunity to perform for an audience. This concert will be a fully supportive environment with a warm welcome, no pressure, and no expectation of perfection.
Participants who aren’t pianists will also have the benefit of performing with our amazing professional accompanist Danny O’Neill and pianists will have the use of our magnificent Kawai grand piano. Solos, duets or larger chamber music ensembles (up to 5 members due to space restrictions) are all welcome!
