@franklinleonard There are also a ton of other college admissions data points and considerations. They look at their rates of offers:acceptances. So if they think you’re not going to accept, they may pass or waitlist you. Know a kid who got full ride to MIT but waitlisted at UC Santa Barbara.
@franklinleonard What many people don’t understand is that students are competing against their peers at their own schools for college admissions. That’s why being at the top of your class at a low/er performing school improves your odds at getting into more selective colleges.
So cool to appear in this year's @TelevisionAcad Emmy Awards digital program! Thank you to @libslatewrites for the interview, and to the Television Academy Foundation for the College TV Award all those years ago that led to where I am today...
The #Emmy for Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie or Special (Original Dramatic Score) goes to Carlos Rafael Rivera (@RiveraComposer) for Lessons In Chemistry (@AppleTV). Congratulations! 🎶💫 #76thEmmys#Emmys#TelevisionAcademy
Kicking off my first Emmys Awards season alongside some of the best in the industry. So proud to toast @RickeyMinor, a director @TelevisionAcad Foundation, at the nominee celebration last week and again last night, after he won for Outstanding Music Direction for The Oscars 🏆
