@WsoccerCa Without explanation, the rankings are just opinion, and likely done with little to no real evidence. If it is done by teams, then perhaps NSL is low b/c it only has 6 teams. I don't see it below any 2nd league. Given recent signings I'd say closer to 8th.

Wpg is the type of city that will latch onto something like this team IF they get over the hump. Look at the variance in the crowds for CANWNT games there. Well-advertised games had big crowds, otherwise not

@WsoccerCa I would agree that they need to massively increase visibility. That's the startup playbook. Get investment and accept losing money in the beginning so you get the numbers. Easier to increase ticket prices once you have numbers than increase numbers at high prices.

@WsoccerCa Gotta be honest, I think who they put ahead of Canada is absurd. Colombia? Mexico? Griffin likely pays no attention to Canada.

If anything, since the start of 2026, I'm feeling like we are on a pretty good trajectory. Not perfect, but going the right direction.

@WsoccerCa It would be a good idea for both sides, probably, but if anyone needs a new signing that can score its Calgary (5 goals on the season). Not saying she wants to run her gym remotely, but I you never know. The new owner in Calgary needs to do something though.

@sixsecondsca 3 starts, IMO, were DB, Allen, and Dagenais. I think it was DB's best game in a lot of ways - her hold up play was dominant. Allen was a saviour for Halifax, as was Dagenais for Ottawa.

Not sure Small or Harris deserve to be on best XI this week.

@sixsecondsca I agree very much with 10 of the 11. I'd have to go with Dagenais in goal. Her 1st half was worthy of the list.

Note: I haven't seen any mention of it, prob b/c there were not good camera angles, but I'm pretty sure Min-a's goal was an outside of the foot bending away goal

And ESPN+ would purchase rights I'm sure - they purchase rights to other women's int'l friendlies. Revenue is being lost!
