Until Iran converts leverage into monetary gain, they haven’t “won the war”.

While it is irrefutable that the United States lost in this conflict, Iran has seen significant damage to their economy, to their infrastructure, and will need to replenish their weapon stockpiles.

That takes money. Whether it be through the tolling of the Strait, or through the large-scale release of frozen assets… one way or another, Iran needs to successfully convert their leverage into a payout.
