When I was a kid, my parents couldn’t afford the Harry Potter books, so I borrowed them to read. But one Christmas, they gave me these two books (left pic) about the Wizarding World, and for years, I read them over and over because they were the only books I had. I grew deeply attached to them—they became my treasure.
Nearly 25 years later, I find myself on the other side, now publishing non-fiction books about the Wizarding World. I never would have imagined this—it's one of those dreams that comes true, another of the many I’ve achieved thanks to Harry Potter.
Many people thank J.K. Rowling for "changing their lives." If I ever had the chance, I’d thank her "for giving me a better life," because without Harry Potter, my life would undoubtedly be much sadder.

In 2009, @jk_rowling created two unique Sorting Hat illustrations as gifts for Malia and Sasha Obama, daughters of President Barack Obama @BarackObama. These framed artworks were presented during Sasha’s birthday visit to the Harry Potter movie set.
The illustrations, made with plaster, paper, metal, glass, adhesive, crayon, ink, and pastel, measure approximately 12 inches in height and 11 inches in width.
