Newton curbside composting with Black Earth Compost began Feb 2019! Since then cost has come down almost 50%. The service plans are as low as $7 per month. You also get a voucher for a free bag of finished compost to use in your yard.

#NationalPeanutButterDay! YUM! Your peanut butter jars are recyclable! Work smarter, not harder! Use a rubber spatula to remove peanut butter and other sticky stuff from containers. Trust us, it works much better than soap and water! No need to remove the paper labels!

Aluminum is very recyclable and has a high market value. Make sure your roasting pan, loaf pans, pie plates and tin containers get recycled! They are easy to clean: just soak them in soapy dishwater for a bit, rinse and place in the recycling bin.
