This will be the last time I talk about PUBG, Krafton, or any PUBG community on my personal account before I go back to yapping about LoL, DF, TFT, and everything else.

I hope that every player in the world can pursue their career fairly, with their rights protected by clean, transparent, and well-defined rules. It is heartbreaking to see the brightest years of a player’s career being forced to come to an end because of the shady, ambiguous, and frankly ridiculous way a tournament is operated.

Sports are supposed to be a world without discrimination. They are not just about one person or one particular community, but about a shared voice that belongs to everyone. It is terrifying to see that spirit being trampled on, disrespected, and swept under the rug because of the superiority complex of a certain group of people.

All they needed was an excuse. They wanted to walk away from a market that had contributed so much to them, and before leaving in such a cowardly manner, they chose to revel in it and leave behind a stain that should never have been placed on the names of talented players.

But it’s okay. Karma will come. All that gloating is nothing more than an inflated ego and an overwhelming sense of narcissism.

We have more than one road ahead of us.

Over the past few days, I have also seen some incredibly beautiful things from the Vietnamese esports community. Although this is a drama within the PUBG community, people from LoL, TFT, and other gaming communities across Vietnam have all come together around the same issue. They showed their support, called for boycotts of things they believed were undeserving of support, and stood behind the players who were harmed.

That is what the true spirit of sportsmanship should look like.
