The situation in the trucking industry is like a dam under immense pressure.
The EV technology is ready. Regulators are pushing hard for zero-emission freight. Yet downstream, there’s almost no adoption — because the market is locked behind structural bottlenecks:
• Operators are highly fragmented, ageing, and undercapitalised
• Investment in new assets has stalled
• The sector remains analogue, slow-moving, and resistant to technological change
When the barrier breaks — as regulation, financing, and operational models align — the shift will be sudden, massive, and irreversible. NexDash is positioned to be the channel through which that pent-up market demand finally flows.

In August, our first fully electric trucks hit the road with @RITTER_SPORT_DE - and a small but real step toward emission-free confectionery logistics.
No diesel, no CO₂ on the road - just chocolate, delivered emission-free.
Where does road freight stand in 2030? Berit will be on stage in Hamburg to talk about it.
On 27 August, Berit Inga Stranz, VP Sales & Strategic Partnership joins the panel at Zukunft Transport 2026 in Hamburg, one of the leading gatherings on sustainable logistics and mobility.
Under the guiding theme "Transport in 2030," Berit takes part in the panel discussion: "Technology-open or technology-decisive: Where does road freight stand in 2030?"
She'll be joined on stage by Sascha Hähnke (Remondis), Nanno Janssen, and Prof. Julia Arlinghaus (University of St. Gallen) to debate the technological and regulatory shifts shaping the future of freight.
It's a conversation close to our mission: preserving Germany's mid-sized trucking sector - and reinventing it. Electric, digital, future-ready.

Berit will be there all day, not just on stage. Come find her if you want to talk about what emission-free freight actually looks like day to day. ⚡ 🚛
We're excited to welcome Franck Pascault to our leadership team as NexDash's first Chief Financial Officer.
Franck joins from Tourlane, where he spent six years as CFO & Managing Director, helping scale the company through multiple stages of growth. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade in investment banking, most notably at Goldman Sachs in London.
At NexDash, Franck will lead our finance function end to end - from strategy to the capital and M&A work powering our mission to consolidate and electrify Europe's freight network.
"I am extremely excited to join NexDash on its mission to transform one of Europe's largest and least digitized industries - while cutting real carbon emissions at scale. NexDash is rethinking freight from the ground up by bringing technology, capital, and operations together - led by category-defining entrepreneurs and logistics thought leaders. The last decade belonged to neobanks. I'm joining NexDash because I believe the next one belongs to Neo-Carriers."
Great to have you on board, Franck.
Excited to build the next chapter together. 🚀

Tomorrow morning our colleague Berit Inga Stranz is on the panel at the Women in Mobility Breakfast @Bitkom Digital Mobility Conference.
What we love about this one: three transport modes in the same room. Giordana Sperling-Doppstadt (duisport - Duisburger Hafen AG) on water, Kerstin Schulz (innotrans) on rail, and Berit on road, with Dr. Kerstin Wendt (Women in Mobility) moderating.
Berit will talk about what it actually takes to digitize freight and electrify fleets, and why road, rail and ports still aren't planned together the way they should be. Plus the topics that matter to all of us: the skills shortage, sustainability, and getting more women into mobility.
If you're there, come say hi. And if you want to talk chat over a coffee afterwards, Berit's up for it. ⚡🚛
We are thrilled to announce that our first e-trucks are on the road - and the fleet ramp-up has begun! ⚡️🚛
Yesterday, we took delivery of our first eActros 600 LS at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth - the first of ten until September, with a ~600 km range. The next vehicles follow shortly and go direct into operations within the next months. By year-end, we aim to grow our electrified fleet to over 20 vehicles.
This is the momentum we've been building toward: turning diesel-era SMEs into electrified, AI-run fleets. Fleet by fleet, truck by truck.
"We’re excited to be operating our first electrified routes - this is the model going live" says Michael Cassau, Founder & CEO.
Thanks to @DaimlerTruck for the first vehicles.
"A great success for everyone involved. We're proud to be part of this forward-looking business model and to see electromobility in road freight put into practice," says Ren Rudelt, Daimler Truck AG.

Berit was on stage at WMF - We Make Future 2026 in Bologna today, for the panel on scaling mobility startups across Europe ("bridging Italy and Europe").
One thing that came up again and again: the hardest part of cross-border growth in mobility isn't the tech - it's that every market has its own rules, its own funding logic, its own way of doing things.
It's also why our buy-and-build approach works the way it does. By bringing local operators on board, we gain the operational know-how that actually travels across countries - and we grow it together with local infrastructure partners on the ground.
Good conversation with Matteo Consonni (EIT Urban Mobility), Luca Ruggeri (Scuter) and Carlo Mallone (Arxax). Thanks for having us.
Electrifying commercial fleets is about far more than the trucks. ⚡🚛
It's about charging, energy, load and grid management at depot scale - exactly the conversations happening at Power2Drive Europe in Munich.
That's why our NexDash team will be on the ground on the opening day, Tuesday, 23 June: ready to listen, dig into real-world challenges, and explore where we can help move fleet electrification forward.
If you're attending, come say hello to Berit Inga Stranz, Karsten Sachsenröder and Esteban Escalante - let's connect.
NexDash is heading to WMF - We Make Future 2026 - World Startup Fest in Bologna.
Berit Inga Stranz will join the roundtable "International scaling of mobility startups: bridging Italy and Europe," moderated by Matteo Consonni (Head of Investment & Portfolio Managers, EIT Urban Mobility), alongside Carlo Mallone (CTO & Co-Founder Arxax).
The focus: What it really takes for mobility startups to scale across borders in Europe - navigating different national policies and regulations, securing investment across markets, and building the networks that make cross-border growth work - all toward a better-connected Europe.
When & where: Startup & VC Plenary stage · 25 June · 11:20-11:50.
At the festival? Meet Berit - we're always happy to connect on electrifying European freight.
🚛⚡Big news at NexDash!
We’re excited to announce our €5M seed round led by Extantia Capital alongside Clean Energy Ventures backing the launch of Europe’s first Neo-Carrier - building a fully electrified, digitally orchestrated freight network for zero-emission logistics. In just three months since founding, we’re accelerating the shift from diesel to electric trucking by combining:
• Electrification
• Fleet acquisition & transformation
• Charging infrastructure with energy partners
• AI-powered fleet orchestration (NexOS)
• Scalable financing for SME operators
Our mission: Green Logistics made in Europe - digitally networked, electric, and increasingly autonomous.
A huge thank you to our investors and partners for their trust - and to the NexDash team for building with speed, ambition, and discipline.
