A few updates are coming to the Hytale account platform, starting with the one a lot of you have been asking for.

Gifting launches this week. You'll be able to buy Hytale for your friends, it's one of your most requested feature for the site and it's almost here.

We're also adding a brand new cape as a thank you for keeping your account secure. Anyone with authenticator app 2FA enabled will get it automatically when it launches, and if you're already enrolled there's nothing you need to do.

Want it but haven't set up 2FA yet? Enable it on the accounts page, and the cape will be ready for you to wear the moment it drops.

Finally, Sign in with Hytale is on the way. Soon other apps, services, and platforms will be able to offer your Hytale account as a login option, so the same account you already use can work in more places.

Thats not all, even more coming soon that we cant wait to show you!

Curious to know what caused this to happen and when we'll hear a solution is in place. Wanted to go get some clips from my stream last night and noticed a lot of strange artifacts because of the corruption.

Any chance VODs impacted will be viewable once this is fixed?

At this time, we do not believe Clips are impacted and encourage users to clip key moments during streams while this issue is ongoing.

It’s now been 7 days since early access launch and I can confidently say that I have no regrets saving Hytale, it’s been the most challenging but rewarding experience of my life.

In 2019, the creators of Minecraft’s most successful server network released their trailer for Hytale (62 MM views on YouTube)

Following this hype Riot Games purchased the studio and IP for an estimated $25M in 2020

The game sat with Riot for 5 YEARS until Simon purchased the game BACK FROM RIOT, and much of the industry believed that if Riot couldn’t get the game out, how could Simon and his team?

AS OF JAN 13TH, 2026, the Hytale team has released the "Beta" version of the game, and there are over 300k Viewers watching the game live on Twitch

The community has been following this journey for YEARS now, and we are all so excited to finally see this come to life

I'm really impressed knowing tools like this will be available to everyone as part of EA launch. I know a Minecraft plugin dev that's tried to make something like this for a creative server and struggled because of how limiting Minecraft can be as a game sometimes
