The VASP references reflect the current setup under MiCA's transitional ("grandfathering") period, which lets existing VASPs continue serving clients under national regimes during the move to full MiCA authorisation. That period ends July 1, 2026. Beyond that date, new EEA clients will be served within Nexo’s MiCA-compliant structure under German regulatory oversight, while existing clients will be gradually and seamlessly transitioned to this new setup.

Your account and services will continue uninterrupted, and your assets will be fully available in your account at all times. What changes is the regulatory umbrella moving from national VASP regimes to MiCA.
