None of this is exotic security work. It is the same instinct as reading a contract before signing one โ except almost nobody applies it to the artefact the whole engagement exists to produce.
This week: find the line on your roadmap nobody pushed back on. That's not the safe one. That's the one to prototype first. Reply with it if you want a second pair of eyes.
Half the time the argument never comes and you were right to wave it through. The other half, you've just found the assumption that would have eaten a quarter โ for the price of an afternoon.

Most founders can estimate the first and refuse to estimate the second. Estimate it, then decide. It is a different conversation once both are on the table.
