Our community members Simon, Gerry, and Koen presented their Nexus Aurora projects here during the @iac2021dubai and it went very well! ๐ฆพ
We met some great people from the industry which we are looking forward to working with! ๐๐ฐ๏ธ๐

@space_stations@NexusAurora OK. It is the place where about 1000 people form our community. We create these projects there. We have not found a better platform yet, but are always looking to improve. You can follow us on https://t.co/DZxRwSEpMS as well and interact there. Or here on Twitter :)
@space_stations@NexusAurora Come join the Discord to see our solution :) We have an *internal* โLarge Artificial Rotational Gravity Environmentโ (LARGE) in the works!
We will present the LARGE, UBM and the Can itself at IAC 2021 in Dubai where our abstracts were approved. Our community is preparing now.
@space_stations@NexusAurora Feel free to come and take a closer look on our Discord and discuss in detail. Or check our Google Drive with all drawing/3D assets which is openly shared with the community: https://t.co/CmOIOyXgp5
We have many projects going, of which the Orbital Can Station is just one
@space_stations@NexusAurora Elongated Starship, which SpaceX already mentions in their payload users guide as being 5 meters taller at about 22m total length and 8m internal diameter.
We join the Interplanetary Podcast with Rob and Matt to talk about Nexus Aurora. We give some insights on who we are, and what we are all about. @NextAstro@Interplanetypod@Sean__Wessels

@marook @AnotherSpaceNut @elonmusk Yeah most definitely, this was just a stock NASA image I found. Are some more improvements possible. But this at least demonstrates you can (relatively) comfortably fly hundreds of people in Starship.
Could this be the simplest fixed seating position for future #SpaceX#Starship astronauts @elonmusk?
You could fit 44 people per flight deck with these seats and over 300 on a standard Starship.
A 8m Diam Orbital CAN space station module for scale by @NextAstro. One of these is 3/4 the size of the ISS. And once all the other modules and support equipment get connected, it will be huge. We are busy at engineering all the systems right now, but its a lot of work!
Was just on the @TotalSpaceNet podcast to discuss @NexusAurora and the next-gen Orbital Can Station we are designing with our community. Check it out here: https://t.co/n2fZBa54rY
Or even better, join and help us design this space station yourself! https://t.co/CmOIOyXgp5 ๐
@MurdermN@YouTube @AnotherSpaceNut Thanks for inviting me as a guest on your podcast! Would love to keep you guys updated about future developments of @NexusAurora and our projects! ๐
@NexusAurora Yeah. We are going to need videos of this in action. First as renders, but also surely also IRL from the #MDRS! Keep it up guys, great work!
Yes! I am now a proud Patreon of @NexusAurora , and you can become a Patreon here yourself @ https://t.co/95KDrPdJF2 ๐

Would it make sense to create a very short #Starship Tanker variant?
You would only need about 10-15% larger tanks to reach maximum 'payload' capability.
This saves dry mass of Starship itself since it will 10-15 m shorter. This could mean over 20t extra fuel payload!
Comparison between the leaning tower of Pisa and the leaning landed #SN10, before it blew up! (actual scale and tilt angle btw!)
Awesome success @SpaceX team, great job!
TOUCHDOWN! ๐ธ
With over 100 people, we live-streamed the landing of #Mars rover #Perseverance with @NexusAurora and @HumanityxBeyond!
The first image of the Martian surface has already been shown! Congrats team Perseverance!
Great work also by co-hosts Sam, Henry and Felix!
