Some good illustrations of the "straight line effect" accuracy of N-xt Liquid Fertilizers in silage ground that had 15-2-6 applied on May 2nd. A boom section was switched off when passing over the roller to avoid dousing it with acidic fertilizer. @ByrneAgri @SoilServicesInt

A beautiful and all too scarce spring morning here at @NextFertTipp HQ and a queue for the weighbridge. One of our bowsers loaded with N24+S for a customer to topdress winter cereals, and behind it one of our sprayers again with N24+S on board for a long-standing dairy customer

@PhilipMasterso2 @SoilServicesInt @ByrneAgri Yes you are correct, the pictures are somewhat deceiving as it was a duller evening for the most part and the clouds only parted for a brief period. The plan was to apply in conditions more like those you mention.

Some experimentation today with Ferti-N and Ferti-Release, 2 bacterial products formulated by our colleagues in The Netherlands to increase N fixing and nutrient uptake efficiency, part of the overall aim to reduce dependence on artificial fertilizers.

The headlands of this field had N25+S applied @170kg/ha 10 days ago, the difference is clearly visible in a 20m strip alongside the hedges in both pictures.
