So unbelievably proud of this team. No Final 4, but accomplished a run that proved EVERYBODY wrong. The 2023-24 squad goes down in the books, and up in the rafters.
Always and forever a CLEMSON TIGER!!!
I remember being told by a former player “wherever Coach Cal goes he will win”. It’s been proven to be true and will continue too. Claiming it now, Utah State will be MW Champions. Amazing hire, Congrats Coach @YSUCoachCalhoun
Sources: Utah State is finalizing a deal to hire Jerrod Calhoun as the school’s next head coach. He’s the head coach at Youngstown State, which he’s led to back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time in school history.
Do what’s right and keep the job in the family. @YSUMensHoops@CoachSlay3 was apart of the original brick laying crew and understands exactly where we came from. He’ll keep the culture intact and we’ll continue winning.

Youngstown State had one 20-win season in its D1 history before Jerrod Calhoun arrived.
Penguins just notched their second 20-win campaign in as many years with an OT win @ Milwaukee.
Calhoun has done such a good job at what seemed like an impossible place to win consistently.
After losing 60 pounds this summer, Keyshawn Hall is having a breakout season averaging:
17.8 PPG, 11 RPG, 1.8 APG, and 1.2 SPG 👀🔥
Big Guard went from having zero offers in high school to putting up crazy numbers in college.

Great summer with former Clemson/YSU hooper Naz Bohannon. Naz has a real unique skill set and play style. After his final year of college basketball at Clemson he spent 3 months in the NFL as a tight end before going back to pro hoops and he’s now playing in Germany
Kelvin Sampson on young people maturing
“The first step on the ladder of success is always failure. Immature people don’t deal well with failure and immature people don’t understand that there is going to be failure.”
