Will Drop My Gubernatorial Ambition If Proven That Alex Otti Did Any Project In Ohafia LGA - Kalu
I am from Ohafia Local Government and I am placing it on record that my local government has received over ₦16 billion in the past three and a half years.I am challenging Arise News to visit Ohafia Local Government and let Governor Alex Otti and his handlers show the world any project his government has done for the people of Ohafia.
If Arise News can go to Ohafia and show one single project that Alex Otti has done for the people of Ohafia Local Government, I will drop my gubernatorial ambition.

I bought fuel yesterday in Toronto, Canada, at $1.7999 CAD per litre, and it cost about $98.95 CAD to fill up my tank. This should ideally last me about a week or more.
Now, the minimum wage in Canada is $17.95 CAD per hour, which means someone who works an average of 8 hours a day will earn $143.60 CAD before tax. A day's salary is enough to fuel his or her car for 2–3 weeks. This means that even one of the lowest earners in Canada can afford to own and drive a car daily without the cost of fuel becoming an overwhelming burden. Public education for children is also free and of high quality.
In Nigeria, fuel is about ₦1,300 per litre. It would cost about ₦88,000 to fill up a similar tank. The minimum wage in Nigeria is ₦70,000 per month. This means that an entire month's minimum wage cannot even fill the tank once.
A minimum-wage earner in Nigeria cannot realistically afford to own, fuel, and maintain a car. The same person still has to afford food, rent, children's education, healthcare, electricity, transportation, and other basic necessities. The list goes on.
In fact, even a bank manager in Nigeria earning ₦1 million monthly could still struggle to maintain a decent standard of living after covering these basic expenses.
This is one reason poverty is so widespread in Nigeria. The cost of basic living is simply too high relative to what the average person earns.
You don't just have an income problem in Nigeria. You have an affordability problem.
For millions of Nigerians, simply living a decent life has become too expensive and increasingly impossible.

"If the opposition presents Peter Obi, I will vote Tinubu. We cannot have a situation where a man who leads a mob that terrorizes people online, that cannot tolerate criticism, that calls everybody that does not support their candidate an enemy of Nigeria beome a President."
— Deji Adeyanju
Deconstructing Peter Obi (2): He is licensed to lie as he likes. His supporters love his lies
“No one blames Obi for being a pathological liar. What one hears is, "Yes, we know that he is lying, but must you be the one to expose the lies of a brother—even if his lies are hurting you?" Hypocrisy and multiple standards everywhere. These do not advance the cause of public accountability. And consistency in our quest for strong ethical politics and governance.
“Those who love H.E. Peter Obi should advise him to stop lying as a habit so as to avoid the constant embarrassment of confronting inconvenient facts and truth. It is also our advice to him as a brother.”
This statement is the most stupidiest thing i have heard from stupid people.
Why do you have personal saving or other investments, why not use all your money to improve yourself.
Hypocrites
There's a very damning information about the Agulu fraud's real source of wealth that they've been deliberately keeping away from the public.
They'll force Soludo to release it if they continue on this trajectory.
How does this thing you said make sense to you now.
I believe you and others in this class have savings and investments, and the question is why?
Why not spend every penny you have solving your problems or you don't have any again?
Politics should not make us unreasonable abeg.
Savings while citizens lack power, hospitals, schools and roads is not prudence. It is delayed development. A state government exists to convert revenue into living standards now, not to park cash while people stay poor.
That is why the Okonjo-Iweala passage does not settle the debate. Wanting the Excess Crude Account left untouched at the federal level is one thing. Choosing not to spend aggressively on power, health, education and jobs inside your own state is another. The second choice has a cost that shows up in people’s lives.
Look at the contrast. Amaechi built model schools across Rivers, sent thousands of students on scholarships, expanded independent power generation, raised IGR, and put visible infrastructure on the ground. That is what using money looks like. Under Obi, NBS data showed Anambra’s poverty rate rising from 41.4% (2003-04) to 53.7% (2009-10). Later figures improved after he left. A “savings champion” whose people got poorer during his watch is a weak advertisement.
Then there is the bank question. Parking state funds in Fidelity Bank, where Obi had previously been chairman and where critics say he retained a substantial interest, looks more like self-dealing than public service. Even if the deposits were legal and later defended as bonds, the optics are terrible: the state stays underdeveloped while the bank that held the money benefits. That is not the same as building plants, classrooms and hospitals.
If 2027 is about results rather than slogans, the test is simple. Did the money leave the treasury and change lives, or did it sit in accounts while poverty and broken public services continued? Saving for its own sake, while citizens remain poor, is not strategy. It is a choice.
Better vote Atiku-Amaechi for your economic survival over your tribal sentiments.
It’s so sad that the much younger generation don’t know who the essential Atiku Abubakar is. If he perpetrated these and many more as VICE-PRESIDENT, imagine what he would do as President.
@AishaYesufu It's only people whom have not traveled round Nigeria that thinks Nigeria is a developing country.
Nigeria is largely underdeveloped. Road infrastructure is zero. I really don't know what FERMA's job is
H.E. Peter Obi, you said you owed no one. You lied. You vowed to quit your 2027 campaign if even one person was shown. Water Corporation staff protested. Records are clear; survivors still testify. Those debts are yet to be fully cleared even today.
The records are clear!
