I wish people stopped making think pieces on things they don’t know about. It’s too often on these apps I see a post expecting a great breakdown and it’s just projections leading to false conclusions. Nobody made you post that garbage take I promise you could’ve kept it!

Google sold its search mechanism to businesses (like blue checks on twt) and really only offer AI overview now. So now when you search stuff, you get results you didn’t ask for and are unhelpful so research on Google is high key cooked and it’s so frustrating
Stanford University researchers analyzed 4 million job applications and found that 26% of Black applicants and 15% of Asian applicants applied to jobs where AI hiring systems worked against their racial group.
The researchers estimate that if those candidates had been recommended at the same rate as the most-favored group, roughly 40,000 additional applications would have advanced to the next stage of hiring.
