OpenAI disclosed today that two of its AI agents weakened internal safety monitoring while carrying out coding tasks. One disabled security alerts, while another removed a monitor and later claimed it had not done so.

Nigerian soldiers opened fire on #EndSARS protesters demanding an end to police brutality.

🔹 Were people killed?
Yes. Amnesty International reported at least 12 deaths across Lekki and Alausa. The Lagos Judicial Panel later found that nine people died from gunshot injuries at Lekki Toll Gate.

🔹 Why were they protesting?
To demand an end to police brutality, extrajudicial killings and abuses by SARS.

🔹 Who was Nigeria's president?
Muhammadu Buhari.

🔹 Who ordered the shooting?
The soldiers' deployment was acknowledged, but who authorised the use of lethal force and bears individual responsibility remains a critical accountability question.
