We are delighted to announce that Historic England has awarded a grant of £242K to restore Turf Fen Mill in Irstead, North Norfolk. It is planned that repairs to the Grade II* mill will be completed by 2026.

In 1975 I sketched Gransden Post Mill in the historic county of Huntingdonshire (top left). Unlisted then, but now Grade 2*. Didn't know much about vernacular buildings then. Good to see 26 pages on post mills in the latest VAG journal, including the Gransden mill. @VArchGroup
