Back in December, lava began slowly oozing out of the top of St. Vincent's La Soufrière volcano. It kept doing that — until April 9, when it violently exploded, endangering 20,000 people.
Why make the switch? Solve that, save lives.

And the differences between Soufriere and Iceland at the moment are stark - both in terms of the type of volcano and impacts on people.

In 7G Geography today we did a treasure hunt of desert animals, and the students had to find out how they had adapted to desert life. These were hidden around the school and they had to use map skills to locate them. Well done to the winning team who got all 10 animals in 20 min
