Zack Snyder is joining Frank Miller on stage in Los Angeles for the Dark Knight Returns creator’s “Storyteller” tour, and the timing is impossible to ignore.

The event lands July 18, just days after Paramount is reportedly targeting the Warner Bros. Discovery deal to close, and right before San Diego Comic-Con.

Snyder has said he would still make The Dark Knight Returns if the chance came up. Now he’ll be sitting next to the man who created it.
