National Financial Ombud Scheme is in their final stages adjudicating a complaint of a client who was overcharged with R 555 000. SB illegally increased the interest rate and fixed the rate in a declining phase of interest rates

iit is a fact that 95 percent of all vehicle loan accounts are overstated up to amounts of R70 000. Banks ignored a letter from the Reserve Bank dated 6 Dec '90 that the calculation of interest in advance is against the Law.
