Jia Zhangke's Caught by The Tides might be the most comprehensive examination of the current century so far. A love story lost among a hallucinatory patchwork of memories past. Blew me away; as of now - my favourite film of this decade. Admittedly hard to easily reccomend.

NOPE is one of the best films of the year and personally my favourite Jordan Peele film. His most refined formally yet. Excellent cinematography by Hoyte van Hoytema. Thematically rich (maybe somewhat uneven), the sense of mystery never leaves even when you think you got it all.
