𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐀 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐞: 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 - 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐫𝐳𝐞𝐜𝐳𝐤𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐤𝐢

Introducing ACHA Builder, Larry Brzeczkowski.

After arriving at Niagara in 1996, Brzeczkowski started the Niagara ACHA program with minimal resources or financial assistance and only 13 players playing a local schedule in mismatched uniforms.

In the ensuing 24 years behind the bench for the Purple Eagles, Brzeczkowski’s teams won six Northeast Collegiate Hockey League (NECHL) conference titles and played in five ACHA Men’s Division I National Championship tournaments.  Brzeczkowski turned Niagara ACHA hockey into an institution and a model for non-varsity sports at the collegiate level.

Retiring in June 2020, Brzeczkowski finished his Niagara coaching career with 387 victories, which ranks second on the ACHA coaching all-time win list.  Brzeczkowski was named NECHL Coach of the Year four times during his time at Niagara behind the bench and guided Niagara to several top 15 rankings in ACHA Men’s Division I play.
