@jstowe239@morellifit I didn’t notice that.
Also, a CAC score of 0 doesn’t exclude CAD. It reflects low calcified plaque burden, not absence of plaque. This is most relevant in younger patients & those with metabolic or inflammatory risk profiles, where soft plaque can be present despite a 0 score.
@AidanCTweets Chemotherapy is prescribed for people with cancer of all ages, we don’t give it to those without cancer.
I’m not at all sure what you’re suggesting here?
@implausibleblog I love the fact that when looking at solar / wind, the idea of capital investment just disappears, it becomes free in certain people’s eyes.
@QueerlyAutistic This isn’t correct, there’s a large body of evidence that many mental health conditions improve with work, especially when it’s meaningful.
The social isolation alone from unemployment is hugely damaging.
@Heccles94 You realise if musk tried to buy $6-8b of food, the price would sky rocket, for everyone.
If we tried to have fresh water for every human, there would be even more water shortages - look at Iran.
We can’t even reach our vaccination targets with free vaccines in the UK / Aus.
@FredHulls@MRobertsQLD I don’t think anyone is disagreeing that there are complexities.
But math is unbiased & the facts clear.
Pop grew 423k in yr to Mar 25, with net migration 316k.
Housing completions, 177k in 24, that’s short ~168k needed for 2.5 ppl/dwelling.
Where’s the disinformation?
@FredHulls@MRobertsQLD As a migrant, I’m struggling to see misinformation here.
It’s a mathematical fact that house building does not & simply cannot keep up with the current trends in immigration
Healthcare, is the same
As is the case in many other sectors.
Hospital capacity cannot grow at ~500k/annum
@MargaretMc15665@DoctorsVoteUK Anyone, in any career, is still learning until the end of that career.
And even then, they’ll still be learning.
That’s evolution.
@mr_james_c I think there has been a simple fact lost in our evolution, not everyone can have everything.
There simply must be someone who goes without, whether that be a highly specialised medicine, or the newest car, or the new shiny TV.
