@kenklippenstein After my employer pays $8,000 and I pay $10,000 per year, my family STILL pays $12,000 out of pocket if we USE our insurance. That’s $30,000 in a year if everything goes RIGHT and insurance actually covers what it is supposed to. BTW I bring home $52,000 per year from paychecks.

Here I pay $800 per month for health insurance to only kick in after $11,000 deductible. Then I'm around 60% of salary

Adding up taxes, insurance, retirement, etc. I pay about 60% of my salary in US and get little back for it.
