The Somerset Farmhouse of 1 North Street, Williton were approached by a "food influencer" that wanted to charge them £2,000 for a review.
They put out a video of Sally eating a sausage roll instead 😆.
Lets make Sally and the Somerset Farmhouse famous for free.
Hey @JeremyClarkson as a small agricultural business that depends on trading at small local events, it’d be great if you could stop trying to pressgang your Hawkstone cider into every event we do. You don’t grow apples or make the cider yourself. Butt out - you’re bankrupting us
@RAC_Care Your spokesman was on the BBC news last night advising people to delay their journeys until after 6pm today. Is it responsible to advise people to make long journeys after dark especially at a time when much of the country is covered by severe weather warnings?
Joseph Bazalgette is famous for designing London's intercepting sewer system but did you know he also designed public toilets and urinals? We wonder if any were built to this design and if any of the buildings exist. #WorldToiletDay
The FA agreed to scrap FA Cup replays because of “expanded European” demands on seven elite Premier League clubs who don’t enter the Cup until the third round anyway, have big squads and some will go on post-season tours or to the Fifa Club World Cup. Such a senseless, heartless decision highlighted this weekend with Non-League clubs like Weston-super-Mare, Hednesford Town, Guiseley, Southend United and others denied a replay, a chance of more revenue and potential memories for a lifetime. The Cup is a great competition, a historic institution that should be cherished and better protected. The game is about David as well as Goliath. #FACup

Good morning, all. Just a reminder. You have until Friday next week to cast your vote in the National Trust’s AGM. We can’t take our national institutions for granted. They need public participation to keep them strong, healthy and INDEPENDENT.

Here's the brilliant @ianbirrell on Badenich's senseless, ill-informed, grim views on autism. There needs to be much more coverage of them https://t.co/Dayvjwh13H
Here's K.Badenoch, who thinks an autism diagnosis entails "economic advantages and protections". She also queries providing school transport for autistic kids & has no idea what neurodiversity/divergence are, and why they have abs nothing to do with, say, anxiety. Pls retweet
So, this afternoon I got home to find a lovely letter from @northernassist telling me about how they wanted to prosecute me for using the below ticket to travel on the specified route at a peak time.
I paid £1.90 less than the fare they say I should have paid.
A thread 🧵
Did you know Tarmac was named after Scottish engineer and road builder John Loudon McAdam? Born #OnThisDay 1756, he improved existing road building techniques including the use of smaller stones.
