@marc_poblenou@AmericanGwyn@Charlie27Cy No. Politics isn't adherence to values. Politics is a process used as a proxy for violence in societal structures. Art is not.
@Nathan_Bell10@AmericanGwyn@Charlie27Cy Except it did not show "how politics actually works." Maybe its fictional world echoed what you imagine politics to be, but that's an entirely different matter.
@plthomasEdD@AmericanGwyn@Charlie27Cy Absolutely untrue. Readers may be political and insist on paving over literature with politics, but by no means are all novels political. Politics is a proxy for violence. Art is not.
@AmericanGwyn@Charlie27Cy Well, it's not political by my intention. Politics is the most reductive way to process experience, and I'm not interested in it. Whatever its agenda, storytelling that has those preoccupations falls under the category of 'propaganda' to me.
Doesn't matter how many recent photos I send them-- it's all from 7-10 years ago. Anyhow, this is going to be an absolute banger. Just what you need, trust me. ✨
