@kyotoisreformed & this does not of necessity then lead to pluralism or liberalism. It can remain grounded, faithful to the instincts of our heritage, while also learning from our brethren over the centuries all at the same time. This fulfills the true vocation & calling of our great heritage IMO5
Probably the most concise and well edited video I have done yet… A concise yet deep dive defense of the Ecumenical agreements around the Eucharist! Includes clips from my great dialogue with @BrettSalkeld

@AnglicanAcolyte@caesar_beaver@Catfinitygamer@BrettSalkeld Lastly, the (literal and grammatical language) was inserted to speak against the puritans I believe… It does not change that GAFCON formed because of opposition to decisions @ Lambeth 1998, therefore why would decisions from Lambeth 1988 not be requisite to also uphold?
@Catfinitygamer@BrettSalkeld I would also say that the work of ARCIC is often deeply underestimated… It is by far the most serious look into these q’s bar none I would contend, taking into account all of the complexity…it is the standard for modern Anglican orthodoxy & is not tainted with latitudinarianism
@Catfinitygamer@BrettSalkeld We go in depth about how Henri De Lubac bridges the gap here before ARCIC and carefully works through the language and concepts over time in our full length interview…
@kyotoisreformed We go into a TON of depth about this is our full length interview… it is worth a watch if you have the time:) This quick video in a sense is a teaser for the fleshed out arguments of our longer form video… Which in a sense is a teaser for Dr. Salkeld’s book & the work of ARCIC!
@kyotoisreformed Appreciate your charity also:) So no I would say that it IS consistent with our Divines, & the complexity of the language is requisite to state the reality. The concepts overlap between our traditions. De Lubac in Corpus Mysticum agrees with our Carolingians, this is the point:)
@ClashChristianR@BrettSalkeld God’s peace man… With that said, no intended larp here, just deep and reconciling truth that is agreed on almost unanimously at an official level… May the blessings of our Lord go with you bro:)
@caesar_beaver@Catfinitygamer@BrettSalkeld If you mean the “Ordination of Women” it’s not necessarily addressed in specific, but I believe in Male Only Orders… Also, the 39 Articles are not the be all end all for Anglicans IMO…They are contextual and local to a specific period and era; with certain persisting principles
