🌍 I'm so proud to share my story with the world. The Girls in the #WildFigTree is out Tuesday, 14th September. Available to pre-order now: https://t.co/g9EiJ88ulI
Dedicated to my family, my community, girls worldwide, and to everyone who has walked this #EndFGM journey with me.
Visited Impiron Pry School to engage teachers & pupils on Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), helping create safer, healthier, & more supportive learning environments.
Empowered learners today become the leaders of tomorrow.
#SRHR#GirlsEducation#YouthEmpowerment
We engaged 34 teachers from Kimana Primary School in a session on SRHR, unpacking key topics, addressing bias, & strengthening gender-responsive classrooms
At NPF, we believe empowered teachers create empowered learners.

Our scholarship students didn’t just attend a mentorship programme, they stepped into transformation
Safe spaces → Reflection → Clarity → Collective strength
When young people are seen, heard, & empowered, entire communities rise
#GirlsEmpowerment#MentorshipMatters
As schools closed, we engaged students at Namelok Mixed Secondary on SRHR & well-being, because time at home can bring pressure and tough choices
Through honest conversations, we equipped them to set boundaries & make informed decisions

Cohort 12, The Amazons, have completed their Leadership Academy journey
75 young women grew in leadership, advocacy, and confidence, returning to their communities as changemakers.
We can’t wait for their October graduation!

NPF’s Elizabeth Soila, Michael Sankale & Jancan Limo joined partners from 10 counties in Naivasha for the #Future4Binti workshop convened by @Amref_Kenya.
Together, we aligned on a shared vision, & strategic workplans that will protect and empower girls across Kenya

Some days fill your heart ❤️
We welcomed friends & partners from @AmrefHealthAfrica, the @DutchMFA and @NLinKenya in Kenya to Nice Place Foundation. Hearing the girls’ dreams and seeing their strength reminded us why this work matters. #Future4Binti#CommunityImpact@NiceLengete
Visited PCEA Imbirikani & Kimana Girls’ High. Their courage, strength & resilience inspire us to keep breaking barriers so every girl can learn, lead & dream without limits. #EducationChangesLives#GirlsWithDreams#EmpoweringGirls
Every visit with the girls in our program fills us with hope. Despite inequality, poverty, and climate challenges, they show courage, determination, and big dreams. At Nice Place Foundation, education means dignity, opportunity, and choice.
#GirlsWithDreams#EmpoweringGirls
As we step into a new year, we remain committed to empowering, educating, and uplifting girls for a brighter future.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to impact, hope, and transformation in 2026

Education protects girls.
In Kenya, 23% of girls marry before 18 and ~15% undergo FGM, often cutting education short. Girls who stay in school are less likely to face these harms and more likely to thrive.
#EducateGirls#EndFGM#EndGBV#Kajiado
We were honoured to welcome Ben & Mia Oppelaar as we unveiled our commemorative plaque. Your generosity has built more than a space — it has created hope, opportunity, and a brighter future for every girl who walks through our door
#Gratitude#EmpoweringGirls#NicePlaceFoundation
Advocacy bridges awareness and change. At Nice Place Foundation, we engage Maasai communities to champion girls’ and women’s rights, amplify voices, challenge harmful norms, and empower safer, stronger communities. #CommunityAdvocacy#EndGBV
Digital violence is real. Girls deserve safe online spaces. At Nice Place Foundation, we teach digital skills, safety, and support systems so girls can speak up and stay safe. Your voice, safety, and story matter. #16DaysOfActivism#EndGBV#EndDigitalViolence
During the 16 Days of Activism, we shine a light on girls most vulnerable to GBV—those with low digital literacy, in rural/low-income areas, public-facing girls, and those without safe devices. Nice Place Foundation works to protect and empower them.
