My sisters know how to check the car every morning because dad taught us when it's your turn to was the car.

@Aduradara61049 Yes, I believe every child trained to have basic life skills. I grew up in a family of 4boys and 2girls. We had a weekly rota that was reshuffled every month. Each person had an opportunity to prepare/serve meals, do laundry, sweep the compound, wash car, wash plates, etc.
