@Lord_grimz The trade issues might or might not be unjust, but the means of getting us to accept their concessions is unjust. No one asked Trump for 25% tariffs on everything in Feb 2025 - he caused a crisis so he could extract concessions to have it removed. Now again.

@Lord_grimz Every "deal" with Trump goes the same way. Trump creates a crisis, and then the negotiation is over what the target is willing to give up in exchange for ending the crisis. It's not a deal, it's a shakedown. And when you're done, you can be sure they're going to do it again

@cbcwatcher Context is key. If the US were a reliable partner, it'd be reasonable to make exclusive deals. Since they aren't, it looks like they're trying to cut off our ability to escape. A return to the status quo when CUSMA was signed would be a major win for Canada
