If this doesn't show a need for a weather radar on the EP, I don't know what does. Lots of angles to justify impact safety, environmental, economic, the list goes on. All the net0 money spending & none is ever found for weather radars. Can't the governments see importance yet?
@dyerjonathan@brodenholland Definitely witnessed similar over the years here on Lower EP. Burnt may feel like it looks better early, and then stubble takes over later on. Neighbour's escaped summer burn in 2022 was chalk and cheese in lentils that followed (burnt significantly worse).
@AgTech_Services Have you found many misses? Or are you targeting fairly big weeds? Have heard reports that sometimes the drone may not get all weeds but my assumption was may weed size could have an impact on that ๐ค
EOI wheaten hay located Ungarra SA. Gauging interest before cutting, aim to sell out of the paddock by single or road train load preferably in high density 8ร4ร3 bales to prevent double handling. For more info contact myself (Nic Oโดโทโทโนโนโฐยนยน7). Re tweets appreciated.
Looking for a scenery change or just simply a new challenge, then there's no better place than right here. Any retweets will be greatly appreciated ๐ป
@CropDoctor54@Reece_Mason1@AdamaAgri@DMAg_consultant@WeedSmartAU@Adama_AU Have used it fairly heavily since it came out to take pressure of group As while leaving other pre ems for the cano phase. We've found it to be awesome in legumes and pspe use is a no brainer. Expensive yes but lives up to it, unlike the promise of others when released at times.
@therealbiztang Yea got ample upright silos for now but just want something you can dump and run in the middle of harvest etc. Probably be the last shed we build for a while so might as well do it properly. Prices are a bit scary these days ๐
Hey guys just looking at ideas for machinery and grain sheds. Any ideas on do's and don't do's will be appreciated, obviously a costly exercise these days so don't want to skip anything. RT appreciated #machineryshed#grainshed#fertshed#asktwitter#ausag
Grain Producers SA is seeking grain producer input on the use of paraquat and diquat herbicides in light of the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority's (APVMA) proposed restrictions. Take our survey below: https://t.co/QmTmz3AnYS
Paraquat is an essential tool to control glyphosate resistant ryegrass. There are no other reliable options to control prior to sowing crops. The addition of Group 14 (G) herbicides is rarely useful to control glyphosate resistant plants.@WeedSmartAU@SyngentaANZ
Hope @APVMA can reconsider. Theres potential to cause huge issues for the ag industry. If this goes kiss goodbye to lots of other chem from a rapid rise in weed resistance. Everywhere you look ag is becoming more difficult to manage for current & younger generations movin forward
Use patterns of one of the best and most cost-effective herbicide mode of action could be severely constrained if this will be implemented by the @APVMA. Not a full ban but 231g ai/ha (925ml/ha) for paraquat knock-down is all we could be left with?! https://t.co/LmppXQd3ax
