Announcement: PV is fighting the KIDS Act vote on Monday.

TLDR - Congress is about to mandate all internet platforms establish invasive age verification methods or risk any random partisan official blocking access to the platform entirely for any reason they deem harmful to minors.

On Monday, Congress will be voting to advance the KIDS Act, a package of legislation that will mandate all internet platforms to “establish, implement, maintain, and enforce” a suite of limitations on all users that a platform “knows or should have known” is a child. The legislation continues on to outline things it wishes to protect minors from and methods it suggests platforms investigate.

The outcome of this is clear: age verification, AI age assurance, ID uploads, and facial scans. Congress is about to create a de facto requirement on all platforms to know the identity of all their users to such detail that it would stand up to legal scrutiny or risk any random partisan official blocking access to the platform entirely for any reason they deem harmful to minors.

Earlier this week, Pete Buttigieg and his family were the victims of a false CPS report, which saw his family separated for over 24 hours. This was a tragic event, one that the passage of the KIDS Act would make even easier than it already is. The problems of swatting/doxxing are made all the more dangerous when the very information weaponized to perpetrate these attacks is made mandatory for any sufficiently sized website to collect.

There is no prohibition on monetizing any of the collected data that the KIDS Act requires, and as a result, data brokers, AI training centers, and marketing farms will make a new level of personally identifying information available for all to access if you know where to look. The risk of stochastic terrorism, abuse by corporations, and weaponization by state governments that this law will enable far outstrips any of the potential yet to be identified benefits. This bill is a threat to the safety of every internet user.

There’s another heatwave coming in the next 10 days.

I hope im wrong but I think we’re fucked.

People are too stupid and the whole media is just unable to tell the truth.

We literally are seeing temperature and rainfall records falling all over the planet constantly and it’s barely making a dent in peoples consciousness. There should be millions protesting in the street day in day out until global governments change.

But there is no urgency from the useless deadly media who literally think they know more than scientists who’ve studied it for decades.

The public only cares about superficial celebrity nonsense, lifestyle guff and money, even people on the left generally are not very engaged with this issue whereas the right often deny it’s even happening. Only 10% of MPs across the board attended a briefing on climate change by the chief scientist in the UK several years ago.

Politicians don’t understand and don’t care, just like the public don’t. Most people won’t even tweet or discuss it let alone watch a documentary.

Someone asked me recently why I focus more on climate change than gay stuff now. It’s because climate change is the biggest threat to gay people that’s ever existed. Because it’s the biggest threat to all people that has ever existed.

We are talking about the total breakdown of the food system, of law and order and eventually, as David Attenborough says, the collapse of civilisation itself. Mass death, in other words, and with the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere - we put 100 million tons of it out every single day - it can’t return to normal for thousands of years.

The media has turned us into idiots and completely failed to convey scientists warnings about how serious and imminent climate breakdown is. It’s not decades away. It’s here. It’s now. Extreme suffering and violence are incoming.

🚨BREAKING: In the Chicago suburbs, an ICE agent assaults a teenager for filming his vehicle, and pointing out that it illegally has no license plate.

In the video, a U.S. citizen is peacefully filming an ICE vehicle, that is sitting in a parking lot. He walks to the back of the SUV to document that it has no license plate.

That’s when the ICE agent jumps out, screaming, “Get away from my vehicle!” while aggressively charging toward the teenager.

The teenager immediately backs away, but the ICE agent keeps walking at him, tries to trip the teenager , and continues yelling… even though neither of them are anywhere near the vehicle anymore.

Filming government officials performing their duties, in public, is protected by the First Amendment. That protection doesn’t disappear just because the official doesn’t like being recorded.

An officer also can’t lawfully use physical force simply because someone is filming them. Using force, to stop someone from recording, is a violation of that person’s constitutional rights.

And let’s not ignore the reason the ICE agent got out of his car in the first place...

Illinois law requires vehicles, driven on public roads, to display valid registration plates. This ICE vehicle is not following that law.

So, if your first instinct, when someone records your conduct, is to assault them… you’re proving exactly why the public is recording in the first place.

Police brutally arrest church going grandma—for helping the homeless.

6 officers surround her car—break window & drag her out for no reason.

Despite visible injuries—she's left handcuffed for hours with no medical attention.

Injuries include—cervical contusion, sprained knee, right shoulder injury, 2 sprained wrists, and multiple bruises & scratches.

She told officers she had a previous injury in her right shoulder and had limited range of motion—they responded by grabbing this shoulder and twisting it further.

Kim Edmond & Magdalene DuPree had just finished dropping off supplies at Virgil’s Village—a private property homeless camp.

Police later claimed that they needed to search her car for "drug paraphernalia"—after she allegedly stopped car with its front tires past the white line at an intersection.

Incident occurred in Polk County, Florida.
