@AshleyJBaptiste @Hannah_CEPSW this is shocking practice. On inspection we stress that case records are an individual's child's story and should be written with this in mind. Inspectors will challenge if this is not the case. I think practice is improving but still some way to go.

so much toxic masculinity around. got me thinking what the opposite is. healthy masculinity, nutritious? prompted by Paul Whitehouse nurturing his friend Bob Mortimer out of post heart operation depression by taking him fishing. a good example of healthy masculinity any others?

@Acsocialwork similarly it is often too easy to gloss over the real damage and neglect children experience when services are inadequate. I think this has to be called out.

@Acsocialwork a lot of interesting and good challenging material here. However i think we need to be careful about not minimising the harm experienced by children who need child protection plans. It often is very evident and serious.
