Can we go back to the Oscars without a host?

[Guillermo del Toro @RealGDT]

It's clear in my heart that SPIDER-MAN's all-star team will expand the revolution it started. Pushing- again- the boundaries and power of animation as a medium. But it will also show that risks and creativity maximize audiences and Cinema. Magnificent!!

@Browntable_Ent It’s like Life of Pi all over again…

[Nick @NicholasMcVay]

@Browntable_Ent Was so mad

[Nick @NicholasMcVay]

Reminds me of when the Life of Pi team got cut off years ago

[Nick @NicholasMcVay]

Honestly, what is with the constant disrespect for VFX artists in the film industry?

[Nick @NicholasMcVay]

Some respect for animation! I love it #Oscar2023

Counterpoint- Animation is THE most democratised filmmaking medium. The software is free, the education is abundant. You just need patience and an idea. If you refuse to have either of those you're not after democratization, you're simply a consumer of culture. And that's fine.

@turingtest_x @NebsGoodTakes He didn’t write doctor sleep though…

[Nick @NicholasMcVay]

@cebyrdjr @NebsGoodTakes He’s only listed as an executive producer. Flanagan wrote the script

Spotted this continuity error in TITANIC.

As the ship is sinking this guy starts singing “Gangsta’s Paradise” by Coolio. The Titanic sank in 1912, “Gangsta’s Paradise” wasn’t released until 1995, over 80 years AFTER Titanic sank. A bit of an embarrassing mistake really 😬😬

[Nick @NicholasMcVay]

Can’t believe this is getting a theatrical release 😆
