@valigo@lemire Same. My only conclusion is that it is like Grok Build for non programmers, plus "computer use". I did experiment with giving it a binary for a simple game I wrote in jai (as long as it's environment has the dependencies), and it managed to slowly click around in it. lol
@meekaale@SebAaltonen@TeslaZoa Exactly, and if this was a better way to store cars we could do it today with regular cars. Drive flat onto the rack, rotate rack vertically. The tradeoffs are not worth it.
@lsanger I could see these being rented for theme parks, fair grounds, etc, 100 bucks a ride kind of thing.
I wonder how the restraints will work, normal seat belt will not cut it. I'm thinking they would need some sort of over the shoulder restraint similar to a roller coaster.
@agriffini@TheGingerBill@mr_scientism because now they have a basket of fruit where last year they didn't. But those who work regularly to pick the entire tree, even the highest branches, they are pointing out that this does not solve the problem yet. We can't let the rest of the tree rot.
@agriffini@TheGingerBill@mr_scientism The way I see it is that a year ago none of the low hanging fruit was collected. And by low I mean not even the fruit on the ground. Now the basic level of work has been done to collect from the ground and pick a few of the bottom branches. For some that is a huge win because...
@masami777777 I wonder how well it will do in the long term. I suspect there are down sides. For example if one tank becomes infected with anything it would spread to the other. Also if something is asymmetrical, the fish could decide to collect more in one than the other, over crowding.
@ICannot_Enough@TeslaPatriot I watched that when @itskyleconner uploaded it, not an FSD demo.
With the semi, my understanding is that Tesla needs driving data from semi drivers to train FSD similar to how they did with cars.
It will likely happen, but today is not that day.
Calibrate expectations.
@Shawn_Farash Sun dials. If you want to coordinate with someone across the world all you have to do in addition to giving them your local solar time provide your coordinates. The conversion to their local solar time is trivial. If you are very far away one of you will need to use a moon dial.
@wholemars There is something odd about the color coding of that lidar image. It is not proximity, as the cat paws would be the same color as the road. Street lights would not glow in lidar data. Also, assuming it was made with AI, it turned the rightmost electrical pole into a tree. Slop.
