Ms. Roth’s class starts their day with morning meeting. Sharing good things creates connections and establishes a positive classroom culture. The class also reviews their daily goals to set themselves up for success! #WeAre264#OneTeamOneFamilyOneDistrict
I can finally say that I Mastered something! I am so incredibly blessed for all of the love and support that has been given to me throughout these last 2 years as I have worked towards this goal. @jennbenthehen thanks for going through this with me. We finally did it!
Words cannot express just how excited, ready and relieved I am to finally be graduating with my Masters degree tomorrow! Final paper submitted, sub plans made, and now it's time to relax and enjoy it.
A6: Play allows me to engage my curiosity and continue wondering about the world. I never feel like I am in a rut, and am energized to learn and do more. #ThePlayfulClassroom
A5: I think the first step is to allow myself and those around me to be more playful and in the moment. I have found it to be pretty contagious. #ThePlayfulClassroom
A4: I would say the beginning and end of the school day have become so routine that they tend to be more stressful and lacking playfulness. These parts of the day could definitely use a revamp and boost of creativity. #ThePlayfulClassroom
A3: Anytime that I am able to use my imagination, and just be myself. One of the great things about play is that there really isn't a wrong way to play, and it allows us to experience so much in life. #ThePlayfulClassroom
A1: My name is Nicholas Preheim. I teach 1st grade in Hutchinson Kansas. Play is what keeps me wondering and building curiosity each and every day! #ThePlayfulClassroom
Today my 1st grade wonderers got their brains buzzing with our "I wonder" activity. It's amazing what great questions, conversation, exploration and learning can come out of a simple zoomed in picture. What do you wonder? #Iwonder#1stgrade
Everyone needs grace right now. After starting the day off with an apology to the class for being a bit cranky yesterday, one of my students piped up and said, "That's okay, we all make mistakes. It's a good thing that today is a new day!" I am truly blessed with the best!
With all of the stress and nerves that come from parent teacher conferences, it just fills my heart to talk and collaborate with parents about their students and celebrate with them all of the growth and accomplishments that they have made!
Conversation about types of meal combinations during lunch yesterday:
S1: First of all, you have to have a solid.
S2: Well onions are solid.
S3: Coffee can be the liquid!
The whole time, I was thinking this sounds an awful lot like a meal the Grinch would have.
