Everyone needs grace right now. After starting the day off with an apology to the class for being a bit cranky yesterday, one of my students piped up and said, "That's okay, we all make mistakes. It's a good thing that today is a new day!" I am truly blessed with the best!

With all of the stress and nerves that come from parent teacher conferences, it just fills my heart to talk and collaborate with parents about their students and celebrate with them all of the growth and accomplishments that they have made!

Conversation about types of meal combinations during lunch yesterday:

S1: First of all, you have to have a solid.
S2: Well onions are solid.
S3: Coffee can be the liquid!

The whole time, I was thinking this sounds an awful lot like a meal the Grinch would have.
