@CBS claims this is for financial reasons but it smacks of political capitulation.

Either way, its an egregious way to end this fantastic franchise, and its loss in late night - and for CBS - should not be undervalued.

The cancelation of @colbertlateshow is sad for multiple reasons. I've been a devoted viewer since @Letterman and genuinely believed that @StephenAtHome was a worthy successor. His show is smart, funny, and above all - relevant, and Colbert has been in top form from day 1.

RIP JLG. The last great cinematic artist willing to break the rules, burn it down, and rebuild it in his image without care except for the art. He was a pioneer, polemical, unapologetic. He's one of the reasons I love cinema and now he'll be a reason to keep making art.

@davidaconrad I remember disliking it upon first viewing but I've grown to accept it. I get why they did it, juggling a dozen characters like they do, I just hate when they portray Welles as the stubborn brat who "lucks" into genius. It's a disservice.

@davidaconrad Agreed. Criminally underrated and forgotten with a superb ensemble, though I'm not crazy about it's depiction of Orson Welles as the temperamental drunk. It's horribly reductive.

@BondWriting Die Another Day. Always felt lazy to me, like someone trying to create a Fleming-esque title and failing.

Runner-up: Skyfall to Property of a Lady. Continuing the unused Fleming titles of the first two DC entries, and fitting the thematic significance of Ms hold over her agents.
