@ShardsOfWinter OH GOOD. I was worried it was me because I loved the first two books and this one felt so meh. So the others in the Mistborn world or the other one, the name slips my mind now?
"The Hero of Ages"- This took ages to finish, it just didn't click like the others. The first half of the book felt like such a drag I skimmed 100 pages one night until something more happened. And that ending. Both fulfilling and disappointing.
"The Pariah."- Interesting concept though I felt didn't land as well as it could. The last part did seem more promising but still on the fence about getting the sequel.
"The Well of Ascension"- Another Mistborn book done and somehow I felt it managed to improve upon the first which I loved to bits. The further development of the lore and the whole prophecy. Only part I didn't like was some of the original team felt sidelined. Still brilliant!
In other news my Masters came back, the markers seemed happy with my work with only a few things they wanted me to add and I've submitted another article and should have some free time again!! Cause I was busy on Thrawn for over a month and it wasn't even that long
Lesser evil: The final book in the Ascendancy trilogy and a perfect end to it. All the threads from the previous books were tied up nicely and even though I knew how it was going to end because it's a prequel, still loved it to bits.
