Anxiety can be seen as the growing pains of your expanding soul inside a limited body.
It's not easy, give yourself a break.

You're doing great, you don't need to go any faster. You are growing and expanding at the precise rate you need to in order to integrate in real time.

Paradoxically, by slowing down, you actually move forward faster.

Why did I drink? because my mates were. I thought I should.
That's the 'people pleaser'.
Doing something because you don't be different.

As long as I'm moving in that direction, I'm cultivating a self-trust
That builds a self-respect
That leads to self-worth

These days if someone has a problem with my 'no',
They can just go and f*ck themselves.

Is it a full f*ck yes?
If not, then it's a no.

The practice of engaging with the voices, parts and unseen energies of the psyche or mind AS IF they are autonomous and not a part of the self.

Imagination is everything. It is the birthplace of creativity, of ideas, of life.
It is the source of joy, excitement and passion, as well pain, suffering and evil

The logic of Shadow Work:

IF you develop a meditation practice THEN you separate thinking from listening.
IF you separate thinking from listening THEN you detach self from psyche
IF you experience psyche as separate from self THEN you achieve freedom from suffering

Regular meditation practice creates a bit of space between a thought and the observer.
In that space, you can make a choice.
You can choose to believe that thought
OR you can let pass like a cloud
