Nixon was a patriot. Period.

They tried the Nixon playbook with Trump - it just didn’t work on Trump because of the military.

Military under Nixon still contained corrupt elements that were implicit in the assassination of JFK.

And those same elements helped remove Nixon (and Agnew).

Nixon and Agnew were staunch anti-communists, btw.
