As of June 27, 2023, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) officially came into effect, providing vital protections and rights for pregnant workers across the nation.
For employers, it’s crucial to familiarize yourselves with the
confidently communicate with your employer to ensure a smooth process. While many of these requirements were already in place in CA, they are now required throughout the country. This is an important milestone in protecting the rights and well-being of pregnant workers.
