@ZachAltmyer Yeah nearly back to normal. Pain lasted for 7 hours and then swelling began to reduce. Lionfish envenomation isn’t lethal just really sucks.

Hot water was key to reducing pain.

Medical staff were like you may want to go the ER. Other divers are like, first time? (with a grin)

I got barbed by a lionfish yesterday while spearing them. Hand swollen for 7 hours. Felt like it got slammed by a car door. I was in realing pain until I got it in hot water which took the pain away! All good now
