An hour+ wait for @porterairlines to get bags out at Boston tonight. Makes the convenience of Toronto City Airport totally irrelevant. Will never fly again.
I for one don't trust the collection of mediocrity we call the General Assembly to ever be able to address the fundamental issues facing our state in a way that allows Rhode Island to realize its full potential. It's time to try something else. Vote YES on Question 1 in November.
Hi friends - I've been pretty quiet on here (which I highly recommend) but I want to ask all Rhode Islanders to vote YES for a constitutional convention on this year's ballot.
So often, our state can't get out of its own way. There are a lot of reasons for this, BUT...
Yes, it may open up for debate questions many of us think are settled. That's OK, that's democracy. But it is the only opportunity we really have to debate and change the fundamental, structural problems with our state government and we deserve that chance.
Grateful for @IuliiaMendel's visit to RI last week. She gave a powerful talk about the war's impact and her time working for @ZelenskyyUa.
It's critical that communities across America continue to understand what's at stake, not just for Ukraine, but for what we *all* hold dear.
Delighted to be welcoming my friend @IuliiaMendel to Rhode Island this week! Please join us for a public event on Friday evening in Jamestown to hear her speak and support humanitarian relief in Ukraine.

Congratulations, @gabeamo. You ran a hell of a campaign and will represent our state well in Washington. You’ve broken a major glass ceiling for our state and I’m excited for your service.
“When you show people that you care for them, that you value them, that you appreciate them, then they are going to be able to give more of themselves,” Central Falls Mayor @MariaForCF said. “And they are going to see the value of their education.”

I was so lucky so share time on a board with this remarkable woman. A trailblazing leader who literally redefined the study of the family, she leaves a legacy that will live on in the thousands of lives she touched and inspired.
Rest in peace, June.
Longtime @CHSatAU Dean June Henton passed away early Tuesday morning.
Henton, a revered colleague, friend and visionary leader touched the lives of students, faculty and staff in her more than three decades of service to #Auburn University.
The Rosecliff mansion in Newport has been renovated, ahead of schedule and under budget. Built in 1902, it houses the largest ballroom in Newport, and will be back open for events after being closed since the beginning of the year.
@DanMcGowan@VictoryFund@wpri12 They did, and they chose to issue this disappointing statement anyway.
The story makes no mention of his sexuality or the gender of the student in question. @VictoryFund should retract this statement unless Carlson actually denies the accusation in public.
