@311Somerville Hi! I know previously because of covid, renters could deny in-person showings of their apartments to prospective tenants. Is that still in effect?
@StreetsblogMASS@BostonParksDept It would be a great improvement. Next let's get rid of the golf course and dedicate that space to people who actually live in the neighborhood.
@avsa Ok, granted, but this much different than "if NC or GA was faster than MI, we'd be seeing a Trump lead." Now you're saying NC _and_ GA vs. MI _and_ WI.
Not to mention your other statement; roughly, "if any [uncalled state] flips, the results flip."
@ofsevit@Scipio888@bytimlogan why so derisive? you enjoy those things. other people enjoy affording a house and playing in the mountains. it's all good
@jbcarmody In case you haven't heard of anything like this, I know of at least one person beginning their residency now who is being paid ~$80 a month less than the match contract dictated. The justification is, essentially, that coronavirus necessitates it.
@universalhub@ofsevit I gather that there's a finite number of licenses, for some reason. When we built a new neighborhood -- the Seaport -- did this number increase? It's an odd policy if every Seaport win is another neighborhood's loss.
@ajafarzadehPR @WelcomeToDot no one was injured in the derailment, but if everyone on that train hops on a Blue Bike in the rain and rides into downtown, you can bet someone will be
@GraniteGeek Near your old VA stomping grounds, a lady was baffled when I told her I came off the trail near the river down the street. She racked her brain trying to place it, and then it struck her. She said: "That ain't a river, thassa crick."
@JasonUkman The last line says most students don't pay sticker price, based on the fact they're taking financial aid. I think you're equating grants and loans here. Those with loans will pay -more- than the sticker price.
