@ashnichrist There's no doubt they'll integrate AI.
But I like the way he mentioned human perspectives.
Both can co exist and AI will likely elevate human creators.
MrBeast's channel looks nothing like it did in 2020.
I used TubeAI to analyse all of his YouTube videos in the last 6 years.
Here are the 5 biggest changes:
YouTube is becoming Netflix.
It already passed Netflix in US TV viewing time this year.
and it just doubled the watch hours you need to get monetised.
Because YT wants 1 thing: viewers staying on the platform longer.
The fastest way to raise watch time per viewer is a series.
1 video ends, the next auto plays and one viewer watches 3-4 videos in a sitting.
YouTube already built the tool for this.
It's called Shows.
It turns your playlists into seasons and episodes with auto-play.
Turn your next playlist into a series.
@fyreinteractive This is why i'm massive on long form content and TV style shows tbh.
If you can make videos feel like a TV series you will keep people glued to the screen.
YouTube Shorts and long forms reach 2 different audiences.
Yet, channels posting both grow subscribers up to 41% faster.
Clip your best long form moments into Shorts.
There's a second audience waiting to find you.
Save this if you want to boost your YouTube titles.
I studied 105.6 million titles with TubeAI.
The results:
- Superlatives like "best" or "worst": +13% lift.
- Money amount: +10.7%
- Brackets: +9.1%
- ALL-CAPS word: +6.1%
- Number: +4.4%
- Second person: +2.1%
- Question mark: +1.6%
ONE LAST THING
I reached 30k YouTube subscribers in 6 weeks.
I did this because I had access to data from 212 million YouTube videos.
If you wan't the same data to help you go viral, set up an account on TubeAI:

My Take
Mr Beast is making longer videos to optimise for TV viewers.
It's too much of a co-incidence he's increased length while YouTube's TV viewership is also up.
Longer videos also improve retention and YouTube recommendation.
Which is another reason why he's doing this.
