What a week! Huge thanks to @TCawser the team and @A2Education for facilitating an inspirational PSS #EAL event last week. I spoke and learnt a huge amount from speakers and delegates about how we can support learners and teachers in our classrooms.

Congratulations to the superb @IamSandraOh for her win at the @goldenglobes last night. Every performance of hers I've seen since the first episode of @GreysABC has been superb and especially #KillingEve. Congrats to @ColinWratten and all involved. Sublime stuff!
Congratulations to Sandra Oh (@IamSandraOh) - Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Drama - Killing Eve (@KillingEve). - #GoldenGlobes
Thanks for sharing. This is such welcome news. These are critical life skills. No child should leave primary education without a strong grounding in each.
With health education in schools universal from 2020, more pupils will learn vital skills such as basic 1st aid, CPR & how to get help in a medical emergency. This will give young people the confidence to know that they can step in to help someone in need https://t.co/Z0gL58AFqH
Here are my 4 things for all educators to live by in 2019:
1. Your mental well-being is more important than ANYTHING
2. Talk, share, connect & collaborate
3. Your family is more important than your job
4. You make a difference in the lives of everyone you work with every day
Whilst tackling the #EALchallenge and supporting learners, we must celebrate #multilingualism and see EAL as potential and fulfilment. Our communities benefit from their diverse cultures and languages #EAL#Literacy
Hi Ludovica. Sorry for the delayed response. In answer to your question, I was told by our success manager, Harry Colley. I can certainly find out for you. I think he was referring to feedback from schools. It was a surprise to him to learn that that was occuring. Best. . Nick
Thanks for the insight. We're being told that the @FlashAcademy_HQ app is helping raise at-home engagement and that families are keen to learn English together at home. Parents with EAL want to support their children and learn alongside them also.
Learning begins at birth.
So we’re working with academics, businesses and others to support parents to 💬 Chat, 🧩 Play and 📖 Read more to create a home learning environment where their child can thrive.
